What we deliver
Our Community and Youth Empowerment program promotes active participation, leadership, and social inclusion among youth and community members. As a USAID Youth Empowerment Activity (YEA) anchor organization with EDC, MHA runs pathway 1 and pathway 2 classes across Leer and Mayiandit counties—covering basic education literacy and numeracy, Work Ready Now, soft skills, and wellbeing—with youth corps leaders, local authorities, and community venues verified for safety and access.
We support skills development, peacebuilding initiatives, sports activities, entrepreneurship, and community engagement that strengthen resilience and self-reliance, while creating opportunities for youth to participate in decision-making and community development. By empowering young people and local groups, we contribute to social cohesion, conflict prevention, and sustainable community transformation.
