Safeguarding Rights. Restoring Dignity.

We reach communities others can't — including islands accessible only by canoe.
Mobile Humanitarian Agency (MHA) is a South Sudanese NGO established in 2017 to safeguard rights and restore dignity for people affected by conflict and displacement—including IDPs, returnees, refugees, and host communities, with particular attention to the most vulnerable.
We work with humanitarian partners to uphold non-discrimination in service delivery, combining rapid emergency response with longer-term resilience through a predominantly field-based team.

Today
Predominantly field-based teams deliver protection and resilience support across Unity and Jonglei.
MHA’s dual focus combines emergency response with strengthening existing community-based protection mechanisms—so communities can weather shocks today while building resilience, local ownership, and capacity for the long term.

MHA is accountable first to the communities we serve, and transparent with the donors, UN agencies, and national NGOs who make our work possible.
We publish representative field activities so partners can see what has been delivered and where. Board practice, financial controls, and documented policies are summarized under Leadership and Policies — and available on request for formal due diligence.
