About Us
Mobile Humanitarian Agency (MHA) is nonprofit non-governmental national organization founded and legally registered in 2017 under chapter 3, section 10 of NGOs Act 2016.
The organization’s primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of every individual who have been forced to flee their homes and ensure their unimpeded access to humanitarian assistance. MHA works together with other humanitarian partners to ensure everybody has the right to access services without being discriminated.
Our beneficiaries are IDPs, returnees, refugees, and host community, with special consideration to most vulnerable individuals or groups that require special attention based on the level of their vulnerabilities and needs.
The basic idea behind establishing MHA is to address the growing needs of conflict-affected communities through both short-term and long-term intervention/durable solution.
Our dedicated personnel work in deep and remote parts of the country providing lives saving assistance through both static and Mobile responses in hard-to-reach locations including Islands, accessible through canoes. And 85% of our workforce is based in the field, and collectively as a team, assisting the most vulnerable victims of displacement.
